I have been a secondary school teacher for 18 years. From the very start of my teaching experience I wondered why children behaved in different ways, why some seemed to have endless resilience to ongoing challenges and for some just coming into school was impossible. When I had my own children I thought about this more and as I learnt about attachment theory during my MA in sequential design and illustration I began to understand some of the reasons behind how and why children behave in different ways. I have begun to put my research and ideas together and present them to my colleagues. I am planning a longer blog posts /series of posts on this subject with some attached resources.
