As well as developing my design and printing skills I also completed modules in a range of subjects including; German, Project Management, Exhibiting Work, Design Commission Projects and a Dissertation on the development of textile design in the 1950s.

I exhibit and sell work through the gallery.

2004 Society of Designer Craftsmen Annual Exhibition, The Mall Galleries, London

I sold a number of pieces of work through the “Shop within the Show”

2003 Target Follow Commission

I produced several textile pieces for a property development agency for use in the communal areas of their office buildings

2003 Norwich and Norfolk Open Studios

My studio was open for Three weeks to the public as part of the Norfolk Open Studios scheme

2002 Society of Designer Craftsmen Annual Exhibition

I was selected as a new licentiate for the society in July and was also invited to show my work at their annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London.

2001 New Designers Exhibition, London

I was one of twelve students selected by my university to have my work displayed.

COURSES/WORKSHOPS

2003 Exploring Colour Course

I ran a three-week course for an individual textile student exploring ways to use colour including dying and printing techniques

2002/2003 Workshops for Norwich City College Textile Group

I ran screen-printing workshops for students studying textiles.

PROFFESIONAL DEVELOPMENT

2002-2003 City and Guilds Making Clothes

I attended weekly classes in dress making which lead to a City and Guilds qualification.

2002 Photoshop Course

I completed a six-week course covering the basics of using Photoshop.

2002 WEETU Training

A ten-week training course run by an organisation supporting women who are interested in becoming self employed.

2002 Member of The Warehouse Studios, Norwich

I had a studio space with a number of other artists and designers. The Warehouse Studios aim to promote the artists and designers they offer studio space to.

2001/2002 Fashion Designs

I have produced fashion samples to be taken to New York by an agent. She initially approached me at my degree show.
